**WTB: Alternator/Fan relay wiring assembly**

Hey hows it going? I need the black wiring assembly that screws into the alternator (while the other end plugs into the main f/p relay by the battery). To be more specific, I need all the assembly except for the red wire and connector that plug into the main f/p by the battery Heres a pic to show you what I'm talking about:

Still looking for that wiring assembly. I've taken a couple of pics to specifically show what I'm talking about. Thanks for looking and e-mail me at epik_18@hotmail.com or through here if you have one available.

I'm guessing that finding this particular piece is going to be difficult right? . I haven't found one yet so the thread is still open. Send me an e-mail and pic to epik_18@hotmail.com if you have one lying around. Thanks.

Ok. I went to the junk yard today came across a trans am with the same wiring assembly that I'm looking for only it was a p.o.s. I came to find out though that its part of the battery cables as well so I might as well take that too if anyone has one for sale. Thanks.

Re: **WTB: Alternator/Fan relay wiring assembly**

I'm getting my harness put in today if not tomorrow and I really need this wiring assembly to complete my installation. Again, I realize that this is all part of the side post battery cables so I'll take those as well. Let me know guys!

Thanks,

Phoenix

Re: **WTB: Alternator/Fan relay wiring assembly**

I looked for one some years ago and had to buy from the dealer. it seems the first thing second and third owners of 82-92 f-bodys do is cut the battery cables and install top post batterys or crappy bolt on side terminals.

FYI the positive one for an 88 tpi was close to 100.00 back then!(but it is long) I would say it should give you a ball park even though the prices change often

Re: **WTB: Alternator/Fan relay wiring assembly**

Yeah I actually had a friend convince me that I should convert to top post battery terminals so I did. One thing that is odd though (and I could be wrong) is that the wire that comes from the alternator is hooked up to the positive side post right? I'm pointing this out because mine bieng that its top post now, is hooked up to the negative terminal . Its been like this for a while as I can remember but still ran fine until I ran into no start issue which I'm currently working on.

Anyway I'm still looking for one so if you happen to be parting out a GTA or have one of these pieces laying around, let me know.

Thanks,
Phoenix
