Complete EFI to Carb set-up FS!!
Anyone looking to convert to a carb and ditch that TBI/TPI? I have a complete set-up that I am looking to part with. It should be everything you need to convert any EFI V8 over to carb (excluding the wiring mods). My RS was TBI, I converted to carb for a few summers, and have now installed a TPI/DFI set-up to make way for my new turbo system.
The list of parts is as follows. Everything was purchased new from Summit, worked perfectly, and are in great shape. All prices include shipping:
1) Mallory 4309 AFPR - includes all brass fittings and modified factory fuel hoses. New price not including fittings was $75, asking $45. SOLD!!
2) Holley 80670 Street Avenger Carb - Dual feed, vacuume secondary, electric choke. Factory jets are 65 & 68. Comes with chrome Mr.Gasket fuel inlet line and 15psi gauge. New price not including feed line/gauge was $370, asking $200
3) Edelbrock 2701 EPS Intake manifold - Very nice, truely does have the extra "punch" as advertised. Comes with ARP carb studs/nuts,and chrome thermostat housing with o-ring style seal. I'll also include a set of new intake gaskets. New price not including studs & housing was $130, asking $75.
4) MSD 8207 Blaster coil - Worked great. New was $42, asking $20. SOLD!!
5) MSD 8360 Distributor - "Ready to Run". Billet shaft, ball bearings, standard style cap. Just about the best street/strip dizzy you can get. Like new conditon, includes original packing and instructions. New was $298, asking $175.SOLD!!
6) Accell universal Super Stock 8mm Plug wires/looms - Taylored to fit SBC in a F-body. Straight off motor, one loom end missing. Combo new was around $50, asking $25.
7) GM TBI throttle cable - Needed if you have a TPI set-up. Asking $10. SOLD!!
8) GM TBI throttle bracket - Modified for return spring, needed if you have TBI. Asking $5. SOLD!!
9) Edelbrock Chrome air cleaner housing - asking $12.SOLD!!
Overview pic attached, but I have photos of each part if needed. I also have a short vid of the car they can off of from a cold start-up to show that everything worked perfectly. Also attached is a pic of my new set-up, sorry it's not for sale !

I used the factory TBI in tank pump (which is why I had the Mallory regulator). I just wired the fuel pump relay to have power whenever the ignition was on. Worked great for two summers with no problem.

It is in very good shape, in fact I just polished it with some never dull. It's too shiney to take a picture of!! Paypal is perfect. If you can get it to me soon I will send it out tomorrow. I am leaving for a "Bitch'in" Camaro weekend cruise Thursday morning and won't be back until Sunday.
You can paypal to jhtimes2@talkamerica.net

Yep, still have both... The intake is Edelbrock part number 2701, for '86 and earlier bolt pattern. If you have the latest Summit catalog, it's on page 13 right in the center.

Different people have different definitions of "hard". I just did the opposite and modified a '89 TPI intake to fit on my pre-'86 heads fairly easily. It helps to have the right tools/bits.

yea nevermind, my heads are aluminum so it would fit. now to do a little more research.
ok yea, definantly interested in the manifold/carb setup.
