Convert your 305 to Speed Density from MAF!

I did this when my MAF broke and it was cheaper to convert than get a new MAF and cleaned up the wiring in my engine bay (2 less relays to worry about and less restriction for air flow). I am selling the PROM needed to convert a 305 to speed density. It was for my 86 Trans Am, stock fuel tables, VATS disabled, "bit flipped" for the VSS to work with the older cars as well. Asking $50.

All you need for the conversion is a MAP sensor and 730 ECM.

So is this a sd prom or a maf prom you are selling, it isn't very clear.

I didn't think I could make it much clearer.

MAP sensor, rubber hose, and pigtail for the sensor can be included for $20. You'd just need an ECM.

Hi Josh,

I think he's confused because you forgot to mention he has to repin the harness to work with a '730.

Pretty good deal.. SD memcals are getting expencive now.

Oh ok. Well for anyone else confused/intriqued here's the website I used with step by step directions of what's needed for the swap and how to do it. Can be done in an hour if you plan it out and are good at wiring.

Hows that coil working for ya? I didn't realize how tight large cap HEI was, I'm kinda wishing I kept the small cap setup. A little tight on the vette with the miniram!!

I have a spare small cap distributor, my stock coil, and wiring if you're looking to swap. The car's not on the road yet so I didn't have a chance to really test it out. It's an easy swap too, I did it becuase the stealth ram and a large cap was a big no-no.
