4.3L (V6) engine, tranny, computer...
I'm moving in the near future. There are some things that need done to the house and then it goes on the market. So I need to get rid of this engine/tranny. Originally I was going to put it in a 2nd Gen Firebird, but oh well.
What we've got:
4.3L v6 from a '95 S-10. It is TBI injection. Also included is the transmission, which is a 4L60E if I recall correctly. It's a 2WD automatic.
I have a complete wiring harness + computer.
I do not recall the exact mileage, but it was 93k and some change. The engine was running when pulled, and all ports have been capped off to prevent air getting in the engine and tranny, and the whole assembly is still together and wrapped in plastic.
Nothing was cut from the wiring harness as I recall. I believe everything was labelled as well, but do not quote me on this.
I paid $450 for the whole assembly. The gentleman I bought it from was extremely methodical and organized, so everything should be clean and in good shape.
I bought a motorcycle off of him as well and was very pleased.
I am located in Lorain, OH and would like this picked up. I will not separate.
I have a cherry picker to help with loading, but if you have access to an engine leveler it would definitely make things easier as the whole assembly is tail heavy.
Currently the engine is resting on a wooden pallet with a block of wood shaped to fit under the lower pulley and hold it level. It is stored in my garage. The engine harness and computer are in separate boxes.
This engine is basically a V8 with two cylinders lopped off, so you can swap it into anything that accepts a small block chevy pretty easily.
I'm looking to get $350, but I'm open for offers.

I hate to keep bumping this, but it's back on page 9 again. If I had the money, I'd buy a roller and throw this in and I'd probably get a couple grand for the car.
Either that or it'd be a blast to cruise in and good on gas. Could throw this in a third gen camaro, buick regal/grand national, 2nd gen firebird, anything that'll accept a small block chevy.
