Re: custom long tube headers

lol... i wish. i really don't even want to sell them for $500. the money i'm about to loose i could go buy a k-member and make it work on one of my other cars. if it doesn't sell on ebay i'll leave the ad up for one more week and if they still don't sell then i guess i have to call pa.

custom headers are way to expensive...

Re: custom long tube headers

These are extremely nice. At this price they are a steal for someone. If they would fit one of my cars, they would be gone.

Re: custom long tube headers

Would these work on my car? 87 406 with a BMR kmember. How do these compare to the 2210 Hooker's? Thanks.....

Re: custom long tube headers

i wouldn't know as i've never bought a set of cad design or mass produced headers. don't know if it helps but they are also stainless and ceramic coated.

as far as the bmr difference my only guess would be to take measurements of the member and i could do the same with my pa to figure out any design complications.

as for the 406. they are design to bolt up to a standard sbc gen I which is the common block found in any gm crate sbc gen I motor or the stadard 305tpi and 350 tpi motors. my only answer for that assuming they work with the k-member is very nice.

the headers and collectors were part of a full $2,200 custom stainless exhaust that i had on my car at one point. from the collectors to tailpipe the exhaust was 4" in diameter all mandrel bends. the headers and collectors are all that i have left. as i said i paid alot of money for this but i would rather see someone take advantage of it as i don't have anything bigger then a 305 tpi i can use them on. if i loose anymore though i will just invest in a k-member and use them.

any more questions just ask, i'll try to answer them the best that i can.

Re: custom long tube headers

Man, I also forgot I just bought a Mufflex ypipe which is 3" into 4. So, I guess I would have to run a reducer on the collectors to make the ypipe work with these? What's the best place to measure around the kmember to see? I don't guess you would be interested in selling them and if they don't work with my kmember, I'll ship them back to ya(my costs) and get my money back do ya???? Just wondering...

Re: custom long tube headers

i honestly couldn't tell you the best place to measure other then to just measure the largest diameter of all the major sections that are directly within the engine bay.

as for the shipping.

i'm asking $500 plus shipping for the headers if they do not sell on ebay as i can't accept any less. i would not have a problem refunding you your money if you were to purchase them and found out they didn't work assuming that they were returned in a reasonable time and not damaged. seeing as how your covering shipping i think it's more then fair.

or i have another option for you...
check your pm's.
