Re: LT1 style T56 swap kit

I can put everything on a pallet strapped and ready to go. You will have to set up the shipping with a trucking company though and schedule the pickup. I have a loading dock at work that will make it cheaper and easier for a company to come pick up. if your interested. send me a e-mail to Badmire68@bellsouth.net

I could organize the shipping. Is there a business I can ship it to? If not most shipping companies will want you to pick it up at the terminal or the will charge a big fee. Send me an e-mail to the address I listed above if you are serious and want me to get some quotes.

Re: LT1 style T56 swap kit

Would i be able to use those pedals on my third gen? Does it come with all the boots for the shifter and the hydraulics and fork for the clutch?

Re: LT1 style T56 swap kit

I'm not sure about those pedels. You will have to do some research. it doesn't come with a boot or the hydralics. it does come with the clutch fork.

Re: LT1 style T56 swap kit

hey guys i just did that exact same swap on my 89 iroc and yes those pedals will work. the onl difference is that the 3rd gen cars have a 2 piece pedal set up and the 4th gen setup is a one piece set up. kind of a bitch to put the in but with some elbow gease you can get them to fall in place

You need these pedals for a thirdgen swap, thirgen pedals don't have the proper angles for clutch operation.

Re: LT1 style T56 swap kit

You will want to hack off the gas pedal off the 4th gen pedals, no sense in leaving it attached everything you do to swap the T56 over you dont need to touch the stock gas pedal. You will also have to enlarge i think 2 of the mounting bolts cant remember if it was just 2 or all of them. I wasnt able to use third gen clutch pedals because of the master cylinder rod wouldnt attach to the pivet on the pedal. Not sure if it matters on stock 82-02 hydraulics.

Free Bump for a good deal.

I got mine for $1400 local 47k miles but that was with a $1000 clutch setup. Spent another easy $300 on other parts.
