FS: chip burning and tuning equipment

I ended up selling the car I was going to use this for, so no longer have a need to tune it Asking $250 shipped OBO - a big savings from moates.net

Moates Ostrich (Real Time ECM Emulator) Product Description: This is THE standalone USB emulator. It might be the ONLY one. It will emulate 2732A, 27C128, 27C256, 27C512, and more! Up to 4mbit (29F040) 8-bit emulation. Robust, USB-based realtime EPROM emulation in the palm of your hand! Battery backup lasts 75 years (standard AAA), so you can leave it in the car if you want to. With this device, you can upload an entirely new binary without a hiccup while the car is running. Or, you can change one parameter at a time. Fully compatible with TunerPro RT and TunerCat.

Moates Burn1 (Flash-n-Burn USB-Based Chip Programmer) Product Description: USB Chip Programmer works with the AT29C256, 27SF512, and AM29F040 chips. Self-powered from the USB port, so no power adapter is needed! Burner can also be used to read stock GM memcals using the HDR1 adapter. While it will only program the three types of chips listed, please note that those three chips can be used as drop-in replacements for most EFI applications. Comes with stand-alone chip programming software (available for download). Also compatible with TunerPro RT. Will read most stock-style chips (2732A, 27C128/256/512/etc).

GP1 Package: GM Adapter w/ 2 chipsProduct Description: This package is very popular. It comes with two 27SF512 chips, an 'S2' ZIF socket, and a G1 adapter! This is everything you need for TPI/etc chip adaptation. If you want different chips or different socket, just purchase the pieces separately from the other items listed.

Re: FS: chip burning and tuning equipment

Sorry, was looking to sell everything as one, cannot seperate. These items have very little use and cost $315 + shipping. Jump on this and get a good deal!

Re: FS: chip burning and tuning equipment

Will I be able to read logs and scanner via ALDL with this? Does it use USB or Serial connections to connect to my laptop? If this will work I will purchase.

Fully compatible with TunerPro RT and TunerCat. These pieces of software should let you do what you want.

Ostrich and programmer are both USB compatible.

Check out moates.net for more detailed info as it can answer your questions probably better than I can, but I think this should work for you.

Thanks

Re: FS: chip burning and tuning equipment

All you need is the software and a computer. I'd recommend TunerPro RT, you can download/purchase from moates.net
