t56 shifter
I have a Hurst Competition plus shifter for sale. It is no longer offered by Hurst and originally was about $190. This shifter was awesome on my Camaro. It is in great condition and comes with a short throw handle that was like 20 bucks alone. I can take more pics if needed. Im asking $130 shipped. Thanks.

Re: t56 shifter
Is this model 391-5060 or 391-5061? Do you know what model it is?
I'm pretty interested. It would probably work well in my '72 Vega.
thanks,
Colin

I forgot to ask, but is this similar to the factory Hurst shifter offered in the SS? Do you have the original stick, too?
thanks,
Colin

No, those are different models. I am not sure what exact model it is, but it is very similar to the Hurst offered from the factory, It might even be the same, but this was purchased from Hurst. Sorry, I dont have the original stick though, but compared to the original stick, the short stick on this shifter makes a real nice difference. Thank for the interest.

Re: t56 shifter
See, this is why I'm asking...

I need to figure out how to move that shifter forward a bit. I may need to make an adapter on the shaft that'll move it forward about an inch.
Why are you selling this shifter? How do the gates feel? Does it have adjustable stops?
Thanks,
Colin

Re: t56 shifter
I see what your saying with the shaft. I would say that you would just have to make a custom one yourself. Im selling the shifter because my girlfriend bought me a pro 5.0 for my birthday w/o asking me, so thats what went in. There are not any adjustable stops on the shifter, but it is very nice to say the least. You really feel it getting into gear, so missing shifts isnt easy. Thanks
