It is a posi rear with 3.27 gears I believe. It is nice and tight. You can always switch out the gears. Let me know if interested.

Re: Parting out a 1987 Trans AM

Car is blue kinda like the car in your avatar. The nose has a crack near the driver side fog light...other than that, its not bad...could possibly be fixed....if you want it make me an offer...most likely, illlet it go cheap becasue its cracked. The hood is pretty good. It has a surface rust spot near the front and it looks lie a little bondo was spread on it. It was a repainted car. The hood looks straight so im thinking the bondo was on there to fill maybe some rust pitts. Might even be glazing putty. Nonetheless, its a very usable hood. I was even considering keeping it for my Formula but if you want it, Ill sell it to ya. Make me an offer for both or just individual pieces.

Re: Parting out a 1987 Trans AM

Dash pad good? was it a manual or auto? If manual do you have the console where the shifter was? How are the front fenders? Did it have the wrap around spoiler or the straight bar? I'm in the process of rebuilding my 87 GTA.. and the previous owners did not take care of this thing at all! Will need others.. but thats all I can think of right now.

Do you have pics of the fenders? Are you able to ship? If so, can you check on shipping to 28539? Thanks.
