i have a 3.1 liter v6 engine mostly complete (plus or minus some external parts and accessories). the motor and transmission came out of a '91 camaro that the body was rusting beyond repair (car came from somewhere in the northern U.S.) I bought the engine to rebuild and place into another camaro but the car was flooded during Katrina so the motor and transmission is just sitting there. I paid $150 for them both together and im just trying to get rid of it cause i have no use for it and figured maybe someone needs a motor/parts.

 

Is the tranny in good shape. There is someone on the "Wanted" board that needs one.

 

yeah. still has all the fluid in it and tourqu converter still on the input shaft. I personally never seen the engine or trans running/driving but the guy i bought it from (ex-girlfriend's dad who is a third gen nut also) said that the engine ran great and didnt smoke and the trans shifted fine. only problem was the car body itself.

 

would the water damage stop the trans from working? cuz i need it for my daily driver

 

there is no water damage. The motor and trans were out of the vehicle and kept high and dry.
