Sounds like a great deal. Has that intake been ported, maybe matched to a gasket? It looks nice and shiny in the runners.

Nope It had the little dremel work while I was bored at school one day but that is about it I want to say the intake portion where the tb bolts up looks like it may have been bigger I bought it for 250 all these other parts are from my project motor I can sand blast it if the buyer wants to paint it a dif color when they get it

Re: Lt1 intake converted

If you end up seperating all of this, I'd be interested in the distributor. I have an LT1 intake in the shop waiting for me to convert it.

I am 99.999999% sure that there is no difference between the TPI intakes for the 350 or the 305. I know you can swap the heads over with no issues.

huh i guess you learn something new everyday. so i could take an lt1 intake off of a newer motor and it will mount directly to mine. if thats the case i might have to do that. that way i can get rid of that restictive TPI intake. thanks for the help man. congrats on selling that so fast. wish i would have beaten the other guy to it lol.

Re: Lt1 intake converted

The Lt1 intake has to be modified. There is a site with all the info www.lt1intake.com but I don't think the guy sells them anymore. Good how-to info though!

Re: Lt1 intake converted

I am doing the conversion right now. Noticed you have not drilled and tapped for cooling in the front or rear if anyone is planning on using it in a non-lt1 block. Also, you will need a remote mount thermostat.
