Thinking about parting out my 87 firebird forumula ws6. seeing what people would be interested in to see if its worth it.
- it has a 350 out of a 85 corvette with rebuilt heads, copper head gaskets, shorty headers, comp cams (.450 lift and 274 degrees of duration)
-manual steering box
-new alternator
-no ac or heat anything
-electric cooling fan
-good radiator
-4 5 spoke rims with 2 70% tread left tires and 2 40% tread left tires
-black back seats
-diamond plate center console plate and ratchet shifter
-th-350 trans with shift kit
-3 inch exhaust with some big shiny tips(not sure what brand muffler but it sounds mean as hell)
-4 wheel disk brakes (red painted calipers)
-255lph walbro fuel pump
-mallory fuel pressure regulator and liquid fileld fuel pressure guage
-holley 650 and 750 carbs (vacuume secondarys)
-wieand single plane manifold
-msd 6a box, blaster 3 ignition coil, 85551 msd billet distributor
-plastic racing buckets with 5 point harnesses
-stock posi rear with 3.86 gears if i recall correctly
-all sorts of little odds and ends.
-located in orlando florida, let me know if your interested in anything and if i get enough offers i guess i could stand parting it.
-otherise 3000 firm takes the whole running and driving car. Its my current dd but i need money to finish my 85 corvette with a 406.

 

 

Why do you want to part it out? Is it stolen?..... Just kidding, wouldn't you ge more for it as a whole car?

 

no its not stolen, i have the title in hand, i need money quick and i had it on auto trader but no one ever came to check it out, i got like 2 calls from the ad but thats it. if i can get close to 3 parting it ill be fine with that i guess. im just sick of looking at a basically finished 500 hp corvette in my driveway i cant drive cause of a my lack of money (student with bills) i would much rather sell the car. i hate to try to part it but if thats what i have to do to save my vette i guess i will say bye to the firebird.

Still parting it out? If you are I have a couple questions regarding the shifter. Do you know the model number? Will it work with a 700R4 trans? And how much do you want for it?

the shifter is actually for a 700r4 and you will be first in line if i do part it. right now it looks like there isnt much interest in the parts, if people start wanting most of the parts ill part it. but right now it dosnt look like its gonna happen.
