Picked up a 85 iroc couple days ago. trans is slipping. has tpi motor in it. Seems to run okay. I started tearing it apart today. has grey interior. ttop car. big peices will need to be picked up. let me know what you need.
Heres a quick picture of it. I know as of now, if interested...the tune port, harness and computer Im looking to get $450 for all. It also has rear disc...looking for $250 for it.

Windshield is perfect, however I dont want to take it out...i did one before and it took a while. A buddy of mine was interested in it as well. Make me a offer on it if you want to take it out, or have someone do it.

barring a swap, 85, tpi, equal l69 heads, "vette" l69 cam, non roller, first year lb9, alot like the one i pulled out of my 85 t/a.

that engine, spewing every liquid i put into it out, and leaking air from every port it had and some it wasn't supoosed to have, STILL ran better then an l03, pushed the t/a to a 15.4 at 88. i like the 85 tpi's lol..

 

I'm interested in the rear end. Can you give me some more info on it? What's the condition of steering wheel? Does it have a leather auto shift **** or leather e-brake handle? If so, what is the condition of those?

 

is the rear end posi and what gear ratio?

 

do you have the ac bracket?

85, first year for tpi, which was the top option engine. which means the rear is most likely a 9 bolt with the iron calipers 10.5 in disc brakes (non PBR). gear ratio can be either 2.73 or 3.23 i believe.

if it's a 9 bolt, which it probably is, it's posi, however it's a friction disc posi, which had a reputation as early as the late eighties for wearing out and becoming open rears. however they also have a reputation for being a strong rear end, but not one you can find parts for.

 

I'm interested in the wiper arms/wipers and the bumper parking lights if they are fairly clear. Shipping would be to Washington state 98239. Thanks

I believe its still the 305 motor, there was a rumor from a previous owner that it had a 350 bored to a 355 but i doubt it does..i'll find out when i pull the motor out and run some numbers.

The rear end needs a new caliper is all i know so far and maybe a break line. its not out yet. shift **** was gone when i got it. i'll check out the ebrake handle and see how it looks.

I do have a a/c bracket, it will be out in the next couple days when i pull motor. $8 shipped for it.

Wiper arems appear to be in good shape, no wipers on it though. someone swipped those. lenses are foggy looking. $15 shipped for the wiper arms.

suspension is all stock.
