Ive got 2 Brand new 15x10 wheels and 2 brand new tires up for sale. I had bought these and mocked them up on my new 9" rearend but the disk brake setup is too big and these wont fit. They will fit the stock rearend with factory disc/drum brakes on thirdgen camaro/firebirds and look very agressive. These are the closest thing to chrome as a polished wheel gets. The tires are 295/50/15's and also brand new. They are Grand Spirit Radial GT. Very similar to a BFgoodrich radial T/A. The wheels new are $155.95 each and the tires cost me $75 each. The total was around $470. I'll let these go for $400 shipped. PM me with an email addy and I can send you some pictures.

 

Would you be interested in selling just the rims?

 

Id really like to sell them together since the tires have been mounted and balanced, but im sure somebody would be interested in the tires. $300 for the wheels and $100 for the tires then. Thanks

Curious as to which brake system you had on the 9" rear, and what the backsapcing on the wheels were? I'm in the same boat, Moser 9" with LS1 rear brakes and looking for decent drag wheels i dont have to grind the calipers down for.

 

Not sure if they still make them, but weld drag star xp will clear. They clear my lt1 calipers on my moser 9". they look just like regular drag stars except the have a little more clearance on the inside..

 

X2 on what rear brakes you were using. I have a moser 9" setup to use 93-97 LT1 style rear discs that will be swapped in this winter.

 

I think you guys will be alright, I went with the same set-up our college uses on our Cobra kit car. It uses a 12" rotor with the front calipers from an 80's SS Monte carlo and cutom brackets. Alot of circle track guys use this same setup on street stocks. The greg welds are clearenced for larger calipers but this setup is a monster compared to anything stock, mainly because of the big calipers. Im just going to wait untill greg weld releases the 17" version of this wheel. The I did a little grinding (1/4") and needed to go about 1/2" more. Probly could of been done but the caliper would be somewhat thin, and I need a good reliable setup on this car with no worries.

 

how big is your brake setup compared to a ls1 rear setup?

 

im not sure compaired side by side but I use a 12" rotor and the caliper sticks about an inch past that
