very interested in motor.. what cr are pistons setup for? Are you sure it was an 89 block?? havent seen many that werent allready setup for roller cam.

 

any v8 camaro/firebird block past 87 is a roller cam block, which uses a roller cam, IIRC

 

well when lookin at the pics of the engine it doesnt appear to have been machined for factory roller cam

 

Its probaly a truck block, but either way, those are retrofit hyd. roller lifters

 

This is a 89 GM crate replacement engine

i have an 89 355 with cam around .525 lift hyper pistons crane rockers high flow oil pump new oil pan and gasket, also has a wieand intake. needs crank turned and bearings. + 400 cash

 

Sounds like a decent small block but i can't pay that much for one that needs a rebuild
