i am selling the trans out of my car it is a race ready 700r4 and a 10" billet l/u converter from FTI stall speed is 4000 behind my 383 which makes 350 at the wheels. converter was recently freshened up when the trans was out new lockup clutch and new stator. trans works excellent and has been 10.60s consistently. the car makes just over 500horse on the kit. so i know it will take at least that. i will get details on the trans build as soon as i speak with the guys that put it together. going to a 350 with a brake. trans is still in the car so you can go for a ride to see that it works flawless. $1500 trans and converter pm or call 386 837 7035

No offense, but you can get new (as in rebuilt) race ready transmissions for $700 off of fleabay that are guaranteed up to 600 horses... Seems a tad high.

 

its only as good as who puts it together. i have used this, i know it works. and i also know what it cost to get one built. trust me you will spend $2000 or more to have one built. ive got well over 2500 tied up in this. i just had a buddy of mine sell one for right at what i am asking and it still had a stock valvebody with a shift kit. i know the manual valve body may or may not help on the sale because there are people who dont like to shift all the time, but it is the best way to get solid shifts.
