Need help, sketchy paypal thing.
so heres the deal, i'm selling my ps3 to finish up my car. some guy offered me alot of money for it to ship is to Nigeria for some adopted son of his. as soon as he said that i was weary of it. but i figured as long as i get the money first what could go wrong? so i told him that if he wants it, i'll ship it to him when i recieve payment. anyways, I'm not sure how many of you out there use Kijiji.com but thats what i sold my ps3 on. I got an e-mail from Service@paypal.com saying that paypal is holding the money and once i send a tracking number it will be released into my paypal account. some new paypal-kijiji security thing. I noticed that all the other e-mails i've recieved from paypal were from service@intl.paypal.com, and there was no paypal logo on the top of the letter.
Anyways, my questions are: has anyone heard of or know of a paypal-kijiji security thing, sort of like ebays. and are all your paypal e-mails from service@intl.paypal.com or do they also come from service@paypal.com. let me know.

You should contact PayPal for assistance as well.

Let me save you what will be a major headache and hassle.
First of I'm an IT Security advisor and Tech so please take my advice to heart.
Paypal does not use service@intl.paypal.com this is a fake email set up to look like a paypal account. The thing that takes away is the @intl.
Most people mistake this for international but email is not like the post office when it comes to address. It doesn't matter if the guy was sending payment from the moon paypal would contact you through the standard paypal address. Paypal will also call you on your registered phone to speak to you in verification of long distance transactions taking place over seas.
Any thing you receive from Paypal will use your real name not Paypal Member or anything along those lines.
Also Paypal will never have you ship something with tracking number before posting money to your account. This is a common scam much akin to the cash a check worth more than I your asking send me x and keep the change. Then you find out it's a bad check and your screwed and someone got free money.
My advice is to call Paypal and speak with a rep. They will tell you if such an email asking you to send the package before payment happened (which you'll find out they never did) and they will want to get the information involving this event (name of other party, email addresses and such forth) They will advise you what to do next. They will tell you to cut of contact with this guy and not to send the PS3. They will then have this information about this guy to which they will use to attempt to prosecute.
So yes this is a scam and no do not send the PS3 unless you want to give it away for free.

NEVER DEAL WITH NIGERIA!
they are the scam capital of africia. you will then get e-mail to hold the payment. then you will be told it arrived broken or damaged or it was not what you wanted.
one way or another your ps3 will be gone and the money will never get here.
nigeria is one of the places where you get a blind link saying you will get 7 million dollars but they need some cash to get it out. they will take what ever they can get, because you are never going to get the money.
tell him to show up with cash in hand and then he can take it away. and a check on the bank of nigeria, one of their famous fake united nations checks, or a fake united nations passport - none of it is real.
