i know this may sound dumb, but what exactly is this??

 

ecm for a tuned port injection car, and wiring harness.

 

For what year is it and also is it complete, i am looking one my car

 

1991 Camaro rs 3.1 V6. It's the same computer as for a V8, part no. 01227730, but you'd need a V8 chip for it.

 

what about the harness you said its from a v6 so i would have to modify it to fit my V8 right

Parts store would have a chip. Aftermarket ones are available from hypertech and others, give you a little extra zip over stock. People on this board can show you how to burn your own if you're so inclined.
The only difference in the harness is the number of injectors, that can be plugged in to the harness real easy.

 

Would you happen to know how to that for you could adapt it and i pay you for it

 

Honestly, I just want to get rid of it. Wife's been hounding me to de-junkify the garage. You know how it is.
