I bought these many years ago from ACS I think it was with their silver coating on both the headers and y pipe. They have been on the car since around 2005 or so with about 10-15k miles on them. Coating is starting to flake off them on several parts of the y pipe but the headers still look pretty good.

What size does the y pipe convert to? I'm trying to put a 3 inch system on my 350 and I need something that I can run into a 3 inch flowmaster cat back

 

The y pipe outlet is 2.5". I had it connected to a 3" carsound cat and 3" Bassani catback so it should work just fine for yours as well.

Was there any benefit with having shorty headers over full length? Definitely interested but curious about whether full lenght headers fit under the camaro or not. Shipping to columbia sc 29212?

 

With full lengths you tend to lose ground clearance, not to mention you have to get a custom ypipe fabbed. They are however better performance wise. But opinions tend to go back and forth.

These do not have air tubes. I did run them for a bit with a standard car sound cat but it wasn't technically legal.
