Both carbs are now SOLD! Thanks for looking!

I've got a pair of Holley carbs leftover from a project. They're both used, in unknown condition.

(SOLD!)First is a 80457, it's a 4160 series 600cfm vacuum secondary carb with electric choke. I bought it used, and it's been sitting for at least 3 years. $55 shipped!

The other is (SOLD) a 3310-1, it's a 4150 series 780cfm vacuum secondary carb. I was told it came off a 396. The choke parts have been removed, and the vacuum port covered. One of the mounting ears is broken off, it was like this when I bought it and I've never done anything with it. A new throttle base plate is about $100 new. $55 shipped! SOLD!!!

Re: Holley Carbs
The best shipping I can get on something that heavy is a large flat rate box $15, Paypal takes 3%. That works out to about $28 for a carb that costs $280 new. Holley gets $50 just for an electric choke kit. I'll go $55 shipped just to get rid of it. I can probably get it in a medium flat rate box if I remove the choke and vacuum secondary housing. In that case I could do $50 shipped. Let me know.

Re: Holley Carbs
I'm pretty sure I gave $50 for it BEFORE I threw a kit in it. I ended up using a Quadrajet instead, then sold the car. I'd love to give it away, but I gotta get something out of it. It's been sitting in a box for the last 3 or 4 years and I really don't need any excuses to ever mess with carbs again. A month ago I had 4 carburetors laying around, i'm down to this 600, and a junk CC Qjet I'll probably throw away, then I'm out of the carb business. I can't wait.

Re: Holley Carbs
The only thing that is holding me back is the condition of it. You don't have any idea at all?? I bought an edelcrap this way and it ended up haunting me in the end. If you give me some kind of idea of the condition of it to ease my mind you might have a sell...

Re: Holley Carbs
I can only tell you what I know. If I knew for sure it was a good carb, I'd be asking over $100. A buddy of mine pulled it off an engine with a spun bearing. It sat in his junk pile for about 6 months because he didn't like Holley carbs. I gave him $50, cleaned it up, and threw a kit in it. I was messing with a 267 V8 in a 1980 Malibu. I ran it on the car for a couple of days and then switched to a Quadrajet. It ran better with the Qjet, so that's what was on it when I sold the car. At the time I was thinking the carb was too large for the engine.

Anyway, it's priced as parts or a fancy modern art door stop. It could work just fine or be a boat anchor, I can't say for sure, and it's sold as is, no different then a flea market or swap meet. Used parts are used parts.
