i have a 1989 2.8 engine and t5 that i will no longer need to to v8 swap. i was goin to keep it for a later project but it will just sit there for ever.. so i have chose to part it out im not asking much for anything just alittle for shipping and gas and time but anything you may need or want off this engine is up for grabs.

T5 out of a 89 Camaro with a 2.8. Complete transmission, with bellhousing throw out bearing, clutch fork, crossmember, mounts, shifter, etc. Also comes with the 2.8 flywheel, pressure plate, and a slightly used clutch. but i dont think you want me to ship something like that its not light

 

Does the engine have the serpentine set up? If it does, what shape is the tensioner pulley in?

Also, how much for the distributor? If you want to sell the module inside, that's fine. I have 2 of them, and I only need the dizzy body itself anyways.

The pulley off of the belt tensioner. My tensioner(s, I have 2) are good but the bearings in the pulley are shot and, like I said before, it squeals like a banshee.

Is the engine set up for the seventh injector in the back of the lower intake? If it is, I need the fuel rail (without the injectors or the fuel pipes)... I got rid of mine like an idiot and the long crank time is killing my battery .

 

Hey I just broke my alternator bracket, and I was wondering if you had the alternator brackets and the if you still had the belt tensioner arm. I don't need the pulley if you already sold it. Thanks.

 

I have all of the above with the exception of the rear alternator bracket (I have the aluminum one that bolts to the head). Apparently, there was something on one of the pullies making the belt squeal and it's gone now, so I have a spare tensioner assembly...

 

Is there any way you can send me some pics of the brackets and do you have the top front metal alternator bracket I'm pretty sure this is a different one than the one you said you don't have. I think the one you are talking about is the bracket on the back of the alternator that bolts to the air pump? If it is than I don't need that one. Thanks again.

The whole pipe coming from the front of the intake (also connecting to the throttle body) running to the hose connecting to the heater core extension/bypass pipe assembly behind the alternator. And you can get the part that screws into the intake at any parts house.
