[MO] Shipping a Motor

Shipping a Motor
I am buying a shortblock and heads package from another member on here and was wondering what would be the most cost efficient way of shipping my engine?
If anyone could point in the right direction I'd really appreciate it?
Also can you give me a ballpark figure I what to expect to pay for this?
Shipping is from North Dakota to Missouri so it's not at all that far

nope shipper has to have it ready to ship and usually they want you to bring it to the transit depot but they can come and get it. normally when we got them sent it was just on a pallet doesn't have to be crated. it does have to be strapped to the pallet though.

yeah you are better off using a commercial address. Ask your local engine shop if you could have it shipped there if you aren't on bad terms with them they will more than likely say yes. It will save you normally between $80-$150.
