Re: grannelli high flow MAF

Per forum rules you are supposed to post your asking price. I was going to PM you because I am interested, but I don't play the PM tag game. If you post a price and I'm interested, I'd PM you.

Re: grannelli high flow MAF

its a stock replacement. got mine from JMperformance i believe, i have to look at the reciept in the MAF box but it cost me 300$ new. im asking 200 for it, not including shipping. again it was never run, new, has all packaging and instructions etc. it does have RTV on the housing tho where the housing is assembled(horizontally since all MAFs are essentially 2 peices joined together) just to make sure theres no leaks. (i do this to all MAFs ive used/planned to use). i used the high temp black RTV. besides its all untouched.

this is the grannelli high flow MAF that is ADJUSTABLE! im asking 200$ for it since its untouched basically that puts me at a loss of 100$. shipping will prob be max of 15$ anywhere in the contingous US (48 states)

product goes to the person who is first in a first come has first pick order that way this doesnt get ugly if more ppl decide to want to buy it.

thanks again

Re: grannelli high flow MAF

pics. u can see the honeycomb screen which is almost no restriction at all. and how the inside is solid state electronics (no more thin extremely fragile sensing wire). also shows the RTV i used to cover the seams just to make sure theres no leaks. adjustment screw is on the bottom, allows for changes to A/F ratio by changing the frequency of the MAF signal.

Performance You can Feel
The extra power you need when you need it: on the ramp acceleration, on demand passing, towing, through the hills or wherever. Granatelli Motor Sports performance mass airflow sensors reduce engine load and improve efficiency. This occurs by providing quicker and more accurate calibrations to changes in engine intake airflow, fuel and spark timing. In addition, the smooth design of our sensor's inlet tube improves airlfow capacity over OEM equipment by and industry leading 47%. The added performance is chassis dyno proven from 2000 rpm to the red line. Most importantly, the performance can be felt where it counts, in the seat of your pants. Granatelli Motor Sports performance mass airflow sensors are ideal for adding extra performance with none of the hassles. Ally you need are basic hand tools and 10 minutes of your time. Just follow the included step-by-step instructions and you'll enjoy 10-23 rear wheel horsepower in no time. Now that's performance, quick and easy!

How They Work
Mass air induction systems measure airflow systems measure airflow with an electronic "hot-wire" type mass airlfow sensor. The sensing element in the air intake provides an output voltage reading that is directly proportional to the amount of air that is entering the engine. This airlfow measurement reduces the calculations required to control fuel and ignition spark advance. Mass airlfow sensors can react quickly and accurately to sudden changes in airflow while improving overall vehicle performance and drivability.

Calibrated for Optimum Performance
Granatelli Motor Sports spends hundreds of hours testing and calibrating to optimize performance for your specific application. Each application is calibrated on our proprietary computerized flow bench. Then, each application is dyno tested and driven under a variety of real world tests using sophisticated air/fuel ratio monitors, exhaust gas temperature gauges and data logging computers. The result is optimum performance for YOUR specific application.

Finally, a replacement Mass Air Flow Sensor hat has HIGHER RELIABILITY than the original equipment unit. It has been PATENTED by Micro-Tech Automotive. This unit has up to 30% HIGHER AIR FLOW RATE than the original equipment unit and you don’t have to tear out the screens or grind down any parts inside! Our unit is the only unit available that features ADJUSTABLE CALIBRATION. If you have a highly modified engine, then this is what you have been waiting for! High lift cams, big valves and intake system changes that increase the volumetric efficiency of your engine create the need for an Air Flow Sensor that can be tuned to meet the needs that your combination requires. Up to 15 R.W. horsepower and 15 lb./ft. torque are possible depending on individual engine modifications and final calibration.
