Fully Ported TPI base

I'll have a nice clean, ported TPI base for sale soon, if anybody is looking.
Port matching of buyers runners available too.

Re: Fully Ported TPI base

$200 and a core manifold + shipping. Or, $250 outright + shipping.
My porting picture album can be found at this link.

What year is this manifold for? Can I still use my cold injector setup? My car specs are listed on the left. Thanks

Hi,
Yes, you can use your cold start injector setup with this manifold. This manifold is correct for '87-'92 TPI engines, so yes it's ready to bolt on your '88 engine.
I do the maximum porting possible, so it flows like crazy! When do you need it?

Thanks,
Darin

Hey Darin,
Do you have gaskets for the manifold and runners? How much do you want for the ported runners as well. Do the runners have the cold start injector provision? Would you be willing to negotiate a price on either one or both the manifold+runners? I'll be looking to purchase within a week.
Thanks,
Cbuckles1

The only runners I have are stock runners. In my original post I said port matching is available for your runners. Meaning I would need you to send me your runners for porting.
I can add in the price of gaskets if needed. My price for the manifold is very fair. $200 + shipping and your core. Or $250 outright + shipping. The manifold will be hot tanked and bead blasted and look like new. Also it will be coated in high temp cast aluminum paint.
Porting takes many hours and the manifold will flow as much or more than anything out there.
What runners were you planning on using? Do you have a plenum? I port plenums too.

Re: Fully Ported TPI base

I was thinking about SLP, Edelbrock, or ported stock runners. Will the aftermarket runners do fine or do I have to match port them as well? I have a used plenum that will need to be ported to 52mm to match the throttle body and runners if I get them. I also would like the price of the manifold gasket included as well. I'm fine with the price, we just need to work out the payment and shipping price. Probably Pay Pal. My zip is 98277 Washington State

Re: Fully Ported TPI base

PayPal is how I usually accept payment. As for the runners, aftermarket runners will work fine with or without porting. I offer port matching of the runners to the plenum and/or base. Price depends on how extensive the porting is. I charge more to open up the Siamese area on the SLP runners and somewhat less to just do a basic gasket match of any runners. I can also port your plenum when your ready too, if you'd like. 200 outright + shipping, 150 with a core + shipping. This is a full port job. Throttle inlets an runner outlets of the plenum are ported to your needs.
I calculated shipping to your zip code and it's $30 with insurance and delivery confirmation. My paypal address is d.dochterman@mchsi.com
If you have any othe questions, let me know.
Thanks,
Darin

Re: Fully Ported TPI base

Ok Darin,
I'll deal with you on the plenum when I receive a used one I ordered. I want the intake manifold for 250.00. I'll send you a core later if that's ok. I went to your pay pal link and it's just an e-mail setup. How do I make the payment to you? Thanks, Clint

Sounds good on the plenum and the core base manifold.
The email address I sent you is my PayPal address. d.dochterman@mchsi.com

Follow these instructions:
It's easier and there are no fees if you send the payment for the ported base with the "personal" tab under send money on the PayPal site.
-Log into your account. www.paypal.com
-Click on the "send money" tab.
-Type in my PayPal address ( d.dochterman@mchsi.com )
in the box that says "to".
-Enter the payment amount ($250.00 + $25 shipping) in the "amount" box.
-Next, click on the "personal" tab next to the "purchase" tab. Then click on the circle that says "other".
-Then click "continue" below.
I'll need your shipping address too.

This is the best way to do it, so that there aren't any fees. Let me know if you have any problems.

Thanks,
Darin

Re: Fully Ported TPI base

Ok, when do you want to send it out to me?
Also, what runners and plenum will you be using with the ported base?
I have 3 other TPI porting jobs to do in the next week or so. So if you want, you can send me payment with paypal within the next day or so and that will put you at spot #1 on the list. That means your base will be ported 1st. Let me know and I'll send you my payment info.

Hey Darin! (Roel from ebay) I think I've read mostly all the threads/posts involving your porting service. I don't think I saw a ported stock runner though. Today being 'Cyber Monday' what kind of deal could I get on this?
Thanks!

There's a used one on eBay right now. Runners and plenum are in the same auction.
I love the Vortec TPI base manifolds! They turn out great with porting!

Re: Fully Ported TPI base

Well alright! I'm soon to be a fully ported TPI. I'll make a thread on before and after track results with stock vs ported. This will be some time in January maybe track results by February, weather permuting.

Thanks Darin for everything!
