[NJ] New Headman Headers Y-pipe and gaskets
New Headman Headers Y-pipe and gaskets
Well the last 4 years ive put approx 500 miles on the camaro. Think its time to sell her and move on to something else. Cleaning out the parts i never got around to installing.
I purchased these headers new approx 3 yrs ago and they have sat in the garage since. I applied a high temp paint to the headers when i got them anticipating i would install them. They are headman brand with air tubes, and y-pipe. I also have a set of gaskets that were 75 from the local shop the best they had and new studs with locks that will be included. I havent been around the boards awhile and honestly forget what I payed for them
. So im gonna start out with $350 plus shipping. I tried doing a search and that was a ballpark price for what there going for. Price is negotiable but no low ***** please, thanks al

Hey Al, welcome back. I'm your buyer on these; by the way. I'm curious though- did you end up replacing the fuel injectors on that engine to solve that intermintent stumbling problem or was it something else? That was an interesting thread/diagnostic subject and I learned from it. Nitro

Georgia- possibly have someone interested, if still avail tues., they are yours.
Neagan- sent you back a pm. Also yes i did get that problem fixed. While the car was bucking and running like cr*p it was also running very hot at the time. I never thought that the temp. issue could also be a problem. Turns out the reverse thread nut that holds the secondary fan on fell off and the car would over heat. In turn the o-rings on the fuel injectors failed because of the high temps. I checked the ohms on the injectors as suggested from the posts and sure enough 7 out of 8 were bad. I ended up replacing all 8 and fixing the fan and it runs great now. Unfortunately I took it to a mechanic that apparently was good and he robbed me blind diagnosing/replacing stock parts. Crazy on how much these boards are helpful and how knowledgable some of the members are. If only i took there advice sooner lol but live and learn i guess.

87Formula- thanks for your interest in the headers. I dont have any information on theses headers, but i figured out how to upload the pics to the original post. so maybe you can justify by the pictures.. also tomorrow i can check in garage for the primary size. I do know they were ordered for a 1989 Camaro with a stock 350 tpi.

Also just so im honest with everyone a fellow member requested a shipping quote. Shipping was over $60 which i had no idea would be so much. So i edited the original post so it now reads: $350 PlUS SHIPPING. Sorry for any problems. thanks Al
