Re: SLP T-ram intake

Yeah it will work well, but the fuel rail setup, someone fixed it, tig welded, not that pretty, so that makes it junk for a once used stock piece, where'd it come from? U know lots of questions. But I ran better in my formula on a stock motor, with HSR and 8.43:1 compression in my 89 formula 13.2 at 103, where the one on here 13.4 at 103, on a forged internal motor? IDK I looked for it, you can find a perfect one for $2500 or less, just sayin. HSR complete with what you need is less than $679

Re: SLP T-ram intake

It looks a bit ruff 4 sure but its prolly worth that or close.
If someone is is buying this its for other reasons than "cheaper and faster" which by the way they can be made to run with a HSR no prob.
Im not seeing the T-stat neck and thats important. price drop
that repair will never be seen when bolted on the car. As long as its welded ok and doesnt leak it'll be fine.. and whole intake cleaned up properly.
Cheaper tho, Nope not the point with this intake.

Re: SLP T-ram intake

I've had it about 6 years. Bought it from some Vette-dude, Finland. For about 2-3 last years i've been using only the bottom part - with custom made upperpart, kinda like stealth ram. Thats why it's much more uglier. The center intake bolt holes had been modified to fit both bolt angles.
Tig welds are holding, no leaks. It was glued when I got it. I had it done a bit reliable that way.

Re: SLP T-ram intake

didn't ryan falconer make that intake? He did engines on la,bo's or ferraris or something in europe. But you should see my HSR, the way its ported, its way better than that right there! cost me $680 I made 380 hp on 8.43:1 compression in my formula L98, so yeah

Re: SLP T-ram intake

yep, HSR is the greatest intake in the freakn world, makes the most power ever on any combo and is the cheapest thing on the planet!
There is NOTHING BETTER,so yeah.
Did you cut your hood bracing to make it fit the bird? Or are your motor mounts wornout so it fits? *edit I just
checked out pix on domain page)
That T-ram custom upper intake is cool, not pretty but hey if it works... It kinda looks like a project I started years ago with a dual quad intake and a box type top like that.
Never finished it , still have it tho..

Re: SLP T-ram intake

How about the Street & Performance Multiport? not as cheap but a whole lot more pleasing to the eye. Based on a nearly identical manifold and the upper plenum is sized similarly.

Re: SLP T-ram intake

Well that was the stupidest design ever, didn't make any more power than my HSR with heads cam and low comression, so I'm glad its for someone that will never will be happy with it, Just sayin, that buyer, was a idiot, theres 24 firehawks left, any one thats apart, is worth basically nothing. As long as the purchaser is happy, a f'd up intake like this, is worth ****, its already been broken, showing its weekess!

I'm glad you're happy with your "hsr with heads cam low comp" - you should learn to stay that way.
