Gm Phase 6 Bowtie Aluminum heads

55 cc chambers
180cc runners
Angled plug
Lots of room to be ported as needed.

$350 plus shipping.

These are getting hard to find. They are discontinued by GM. They are untouched and bare. Great head for that time period. Not the best but would still do well compared to some heads out there. Again, read the description before contacting me. They are untouched and bare. I don't know how much more clear I can make that. NO VALVES! NO VALVE GUIDES! NO SEATS! BARE!!!!!!! BARE!

Here is their description from GM's catalog when they still sold them:

SBC PH 6 Aluminum Bow Tie Bare Head. (Discontinued). Listed on page 51 of GMPP 1998 catalog. The Phase 6 aluminum Bow Tie cylinder head (casting P/N 14011049) is the product of years of testing and development. The Phase 6 head has the highest performance potential of any Chevrolet cylinder head with standard intake port locations. It features high-flow intake runners, high-efficiency 55cc combustion chambers, and D-shaped exhaust ports. Port wall sections are extra thick to allow extensive modifications, and there are no water passages under the valve spring pockets. The spring pads are machined to accomodate standard length valve stems. The valve seat inserts are machined for 2.02" intake valves and 1.60" exhausts. The angled spark plug holes are machined for both tapered seat and gasketed plugs. Phase 6 heads are recommended for maximum effort racing engines which require a standard intake port location.
Technical Notes: Pushrod guideplates P/N 14011051 and 3/4" head bolt washers P/N 10051155 must be used with Phase 6 heads. Intake manifold P/N 10051102 is recommended for single four-barrel applications.

Pm me and I can send pics. Not really in a big urge to sell these. I got a quote from a buddy on the machine work and as soon as I get my tax money, I'll probably get them done.

Sale pending

Re: Gm Phase 6 Bowtie Aluminum heads

Same here or I would use them on my 400. They are as cast though I was thinking if the chambers were opened up some it would raise the size to 60cc or so. I am probably wrong about that.

My buddy quoted me a cheap price on the machining, springs and valves. So I might be getting them done soon and putting them on a 350 I have sitting around. Would make a nice little street motor.
