9 bolt rear out of an 89 camaro. Orginally a 2.77 rear but upgraded to 3.27 with rebuilt carrier. Spins free. Backing plates in good condition but starting to show surface rust. Just need repainted. Will not ship but will drive up to two hours at buyers expense from northwest Ohio to meet. Thanks for looking.

 

Is this a drum or disk rear, any noise while on car, How long since on car, was car driven with 3; 27 gears, How much?

 

It's a disc brake rear with brakes. Backing plates and caliper mounts are there but no rotors or calipers. I removed it from my 89 camaro and had the 2.77 gear replaced with 3.27's and a rebuilt carrier. I never reinstalled it in my car. I found a rear with 3.45's and used it instead. I'd like to keep the calipers for spares. So you're buying the housing, axles, rebuilt carrier and 3.27 gears.

 

OK so how much do you want for it, and how far from the Mich State line are you.

 

I've been out of the loop for so long, I don't know what anything is worth anymore. That's why I posted "make offer". I'll ask 225 I guess. I live about an hour and a half from Mich line down 75 I think. I don't know where in Michigan you're looking to cross. Thanks for inquiring. Let me know if theres anything else I can do.

 

Will you travel 1 hour for the $225.00 ? Do you take paypal, I want the rearend, but it may be a couple weeks befor I can come get it. Working lots. I could give you deposit to hold it for me. And yes I would be comming down 75 or possible 24, 24 is what I took when I was working at the Defiance GM plant. Defiance was just under 2 hrs for me.

 

I simply can't do it for that. It's 86 miles to Bedford MI (state line) so that's about 30 bucks in fuel round trip. And 3 % PayPal fee is 7 bucks. That would put me at $187 for rear. Sorry, but I can't cover that.
