Complete 3100/3400 hybrid top end kit
Since I have too much going on right now I need to get rid of some stuff. I have a complete 3100 top end and some other goodies I planned to turn into a high revving 2.8 hybrid motor that never came to be. Anyone looking to put together a hybrid will have essentially everything they need and then some. So here's the list-
-3100 plenum w/ throttle and all sensors
-3400 lower manifold w/ injector rail & wiring harness
-Either 15 lb/hr F1ZE injectors or 24 lb/hr SC 3800 injectors (whichever you want)
-3400 heads w/ valves, springs, rockers, ect.
- .25mm over rod bearing set
-Valvecovers
-Partial gasket set w/ .06 head gaskets (needs oil pan, timing cover, valvecover & lim gaskets)
-Modified throttle cable (works with stock pedal)
-Custom T.V. cable bracket for 700r4 trans
-Gen 2 3100 pushrods for use with flat tappet cams (stock cam)
-Thermostat included
What you will need-
-DIS ignition coil and crank sensor (click here for wiring details)
-Reluctor if using the 2.8 or 3.1 block ( I can send a template to cut the balancer or your own)
-ECM retune to run the ignition coil (click here, post 174 for tuning options)
-Trim the timing cover for the manifold (click here, post 40 for assembly tips)
I can give any advice you will need along the way. All gasket surfaces have been checked and resurfaced, no porting has been done yet. The T.V. cable bracket took some time to get right so I almost want to hang on to that part lol. The coolant bypass on the lower manifold is already blocked with a freeze plug. I also have a 3500 plenum if anyone is interested. $250 + shipping takes it all.

Heads, valvecovers, gaskets. The valvecovers aren't painted, this is another pair.

What are the odds of me being able to buy just these 2 off you:
-Modified throttle cable (works with stock pedal)
-Custom T.V. cable bracket for 700r4 trans
Would be nice to be able to use my highly modified 3400 56mm TB on my ported 3.4 intake(it wasn't even close to matching the stock TB =/)
Or if perhaps you could provide me a way to make or get my own, lol.

Slim unless I don't have much interest. I'd really like to see someone put this stuff to use instead of sitting on a shelf for the next 3 years. You can weld up your own bracket but it takes some patience and a diagram for proper T.V. cable geometry. It's a bit more complex than lining up the angles because you need to adjust how much cable pull there is per degree of throttle rotation. It's not linear and opens the T.V. faster at low angles and progressively slower at higher for driveability.

Damn. You couldn't wait until next year or until I get my tax refund? I'm still doing suspension and brakes. The hybrid was going to be this winter. I've got the 3.4 ready to rebuild and I started the hybrid research. Are the 3400 heads the aluminum ones and are they what you're talking about when you say no porting has been done? I just bought a bunch of 1Le brake stuff so this may be hard to sneak in. What would it be with shipping to 95472 (CA)?

Yes these are gen 3 alum heads and no porting has been done. Should be about $65 to ship.
