Hello everyone, my 15 days are finally over and now i can finally post up some of my questions i've been dieing to ask. I've got a 1985 TA with the 5.7L motor. The motor, tranny and diff all have an original 55,000 miles on them and I was curious as to how much its worth for the motor, tranny and diff. If sold separately or with the full shell? Could anyone knowledgeable in this help me out?

 

They're only worth what someone is willing to pay. You can price them at whatever you want but they're still only worth what someone will give you. There's no standard price guide for used parts. By the way, unless these parts are actually for sale, you should post somewhere else.

 

I was just wondering what they would be worth generally speaking, as in what they usually go for. They will be for sale soon. I just wanted to test the waters first.

 

It's not an original engine if it's an 85. There were no L98's that year.
