Re: 1992 B4C 1LE ... roller ... no motor ... no trans ...

Darn, down goes another one. Tell the guy who has the B4C VIN list going to update his list. Minor correction(if not mistaken), there were 587 of these and 200(ish) of those were strictly 1LE's with A/C and radio delete which is probably the only thing more rare than the B4C/1LE in '92.

Nonetheless, the hope is that it finds a special someone that'll put some life back in it.

Good luck on the sell.....and if no dice......well, i could use some of those parts, lol.

Interesting approach to this car. If he parts it the hard way one part at a time he gets 2grand if he sells all the parts. If he sells it complete he gets 2 grand. Hope the car is saved since it is an important one.

Re: 1992 B4C 1LE ... roller ... no motor ... no trans ...

it's truely as shame either way ... the moronPO took the motor/trans for a elk that could use ANY motor since it's a rusted out POS ! and likely won't see the motor installed in this decade anyway !!!

I have a 305TPI and a 1997 suburban ... so .. it may become a vortec TPI 350 auto .. still trying to figure out if the 4l6E in the sub will plug and play .. and I REALLY hate to ruin the sub to fix this !! but it'll be WAY more fun !!

do the math ... it's WAY MORE than 2k in parts ...

STOP PM-ing for parts ... you'll just make sure you don't get a shot at them IF the time comes ...

trade a street fighter ? surely you don't mean that worthless video game ?

Unless you swap in the wiring harness and PCM, no. The sub has a electronic controlled 4L60E, the Camaro just had the 4L60 with no electronics. They do make aftermarket tranny controllers now, Summit Racing has them.

I have a 1991 l98 tpi speed density, with harness and a few transmissions, you should just put it back together there are always people willing to spend good money on those cars.

So you're in Georgia? How's the interior look, after being open to the elements?

Yeah, these things are a lot of fun to toss around. They're a bit lighter than your normal Z/RS, and handle wonderfully.

That's assuming he gets $600 for the rearend and $700 for the 1LE brakes. Rear disc posi rear ends go for about $300 here and the 1LE brakes I haven't priced locally but I can't see them going for more than $400.

Good luck with the sale though regardless, I hope someone buys it and restores it instead of parting it out. Looks like a solid car for the most part.

I'm just saying, you've got it listed by parts and prices. If you're wanting to sell it as a roller, you've got it in the wrong section.

I really don't understand how some newby thinks he can come in here and insult our long time TGO members like that when it's soooo obvious he can't express his thoughts properly. I guess that's the internet for you....

If you look, the first post was edited after we started inquiring about the parts. He originally did have the list of parts and prices up....I guess he only wants to gloat that he has the body...which really doesn't impress me anyway.

I saw the original post with specific prices on parts also, he edited everything to make it look like he wasn't selling parts, which is funny because this is the PARTS FOR SALE SECTION.

Sounds like he's got his work cut out for him. Poor car...
