is this the vette or f body model? asking because wiper motor won't fit otherwise

 

I have one in my Formula and the wiper motor hardly fits anyway... I don't think their is a difference between the Vette/F-body ones.

From my understanding the only different one is for the LT1, and the plenum isn't as tall.

 

Buddy of mine has one on an 83 TA there's no way the wiper motor will fit, I think the F body plenum is shorter on the back runners...not 100% sure though

 

If you would sell just the runners lmk

understand, I think there is a tall and short version of the plenum for hood clearance.

 

I'm pretty sure there was an f body and a corvette version, the f body was not as tall and shorter in the back for wiper motor clearance.

 

I think the easy way too tell the difference is the taller one has two 58mm holes for the tb and the shorter vette one has one oval opening behind the tb. I think it has about a inch height difference.

 

Did these things even work good? Im sure there was an improvement over stock tpi, but look at the new intakes on the vette / camaro, I cant believe they didnt think of the new designs sooner.

 

This is an awesome deal for someone wanting to step up to an alternative TPI.

If I remember correctly, the base plate alone cost me almost $500 back in 1996....this is the base, runners, and box! For the same price I paid for the base alone!

Someone should jump on this now!

I believe the shorter one was for the 4th gen LT1 Fbodys so it could fit under the cowl. I don't think the C4 vette needs a shorter one. My friend has a C4 Lingenfelter vette and it has the tall plenum on it.
The wiper motor is a issue on the 3rd gen fbody, which it depends on the year of the wiper motor/pump assembly..

 

The long one certainly will not fit the early wiper motor, I tried it..won't fit.

 

I think its because the squirter pump is part of the motor correct? The wiper motor changed a lil before the cars went to EFI sooo It'll fit those.
Like you said it won't with the early carbed cars.
