Hate to part with the super ram motor but Im building something bigger. Engine is a zz4 shortblock with super ram/219 lpe cam/trick flow twisted wedge 180 cc heads with the gold crane 1.5 rockers. Super ram is port matched as well.Hamburger pan, 24lb injectors, and custom modified fuel rails by street and performance to take a 6an inlet and outlet. Its a 10.1 compression engine, it plenty healthy with low miles. Complete engine minus the accesories in the pic like headers and pullys. Here are a few pics:

Thanks for the intrest. I really dont want to part it out as it runs very well. Think about it for yourself. 219 cam will pass the sniffer in CA. And with super ram you can retain the egr. This is an easy 12 sec combo all day long. If I do Ill may sell them complete with the crane gold rollers .Its a good flowing head around 236 on the intake at .500. Plus the 180cc chamber is excellent for a street driven vehicle. Only reason why Im selling is the extra cash will finance the new build. I just love the look of the super ram in a thirdgen. Would you be interested in the long block minus the intake? I know you run a tbi. Lmk thanks

Is SR matched to a Fel Pro gasket if so what #. I have an interest in a complete SR if you decide to go that route.

Sorry I missed your post. I really didnt want to part this out but if I have to I may or may not sell the super ram. If you want the short block it will basically be comming more complete than a zz4 one. Youll get the cam, lifters, oil pan and such etc. Shoot me an offer. I will only part out if you and the other party is in on the heads as well dont want to start splitting up a running motor than have people back out of the deal. Lmk we can work something out. He wants to build a 383 (he bought a block from me), otherwise he'd be ALL over it. I showed him the link. Definitely a sweet deal for a complete package. I understand you not wanting to part it out, though. That can be a pain to deal with, heh.

 

Hi. Well have your friend think about it. To be honest with these heads 180cc on a hot 383 would be a tad small. But for this motor everything is matched and works well together. Your prob looking at 30-40 ftlbs difference between a 383-355. Something to think about. Have your friend reserch this combo on corvette forum, in the lighter vette your looking at low 12s hight 11s all day. Super ram and 219 cam is a stout performer.

Status is aim waiting on two to get back to me on the motor. If I split things up this makes the .otor less desirable for sale. If someone wants the long block I will sell you the super ram. Diabolical if you want the long block at that price we can do that, for the complete motor I cant let it go that low sorry. Take care all

I wish this were a year earlier. I just built a similar setup and can attest that that engine can not be built for that money. this would have saved me considerable time and money This is a GOOD DEAL

 

Thank you for chiming in. After this motor and previous combos and now with the 421 Im putting together I know you can agree just machine work and parts are expensive now. The small stuff adds up. Really to build this engine new now your looking at $7500-8500 depending on parts. Would definatly like to get this gone so I can get my 421 done faster. Anyone looking for a combo like this go to a QUALITY machine shop/builder and do a price search on all parts listed. And get a round about cost, double what Im asking thats about what youll pay.You will save alot doing it this way. Basically throw your distributor in, get chip burnt, done it will run. Easy.... that is about rite. and I bought most of my parts used. 1500 for a used short block. 800 for new pistons. 500 for used heads. 2500 for machine shop. 350 for a pan. 850 for a used super ram. ect ect ect.

Did you sell the miniram? Looking for a miniram 1206 for my 421. I know I may have to part out. I just hate doing that. If I get a few interested parties. Heads shortblock and intake I will. I can sit on a set of heads or an intake, not a shortblock though. I got my 421 comming soon and have my tahoes 383 here as well. No room for it. Thanks for the heads up though.

Any interest in trading for a 99 Vette LS1 with GTO harness and 48,000 miles? any specs on the motor in terms of tq and hp?

 

Thanks for the offer, but the last thing I need in my garage is another motor. I have my Tahoes 383, the old tahoe 350, this 355 and soon Ill have to make room for the 421. I dont have specs per say hp amd torque but if I had to guess Id say at least 420 to the crank. I went 12.60 with a bone stock 9lb boosted tpi and this feels faster. Def a solid mid to low 12 engine all day. Take care.
