I have to sell my engine / tranny combo. This engine has about 500 miles on it and ran fine before it was pulled.
I have receipts totaling at least $5000. I am asking $2200 for engine/trans.
If I have to separate I will sell the trans with torque converter for $600 FIRM and the motor for $1650 FIRM. Cash only. Local pickup only. I am located near Akron, Ohio. I won't split up the trans/torque converter.
Some Details:
Summit .030 over 383 block fully machined. Summit 200cc aluminum heads. 64cc 2.02/1.60 etc. (~10.5 to 1cr). Cast crank, roller rockers, forged I beam rods with cap screws. Balanced assembly. 7qt pan. Lunati hyd camshaft 60103Lk part #. (this block accepts roller cam as well)

I have the car this came out of so if needed we could work something out on matching y pipe/headers which bolted up to this engine.

what's the hp and tq specs roughly on the engine?

 

I never had this on the dyno but a conservative estimate would be 400-420HP and 450FT lbs torque. It requires 91 octane.

Everything you would reasonably expect to come with an engine.

600cfm edelbrock carb
Long block as seen in pics (carb to pan)
High torque mini-starter
You would need a power steering pump.
like new 1 wire alternator with summit alt bracket
any pulleys I have in the garage that came off it. I think I have one that bolts to the harmonic balancer.
Plugs and wires go with it. NGK plugs and new mallory wires

That depends completely on your offer. PM me with what you were thinking. Keep in mind you can buy a late model roller 383 prepped block from summit for $500.

I have a 2010 mustang gt and I lost interest in this project. I took the motor and trans out to install the kickdown cable in the tranny and replace the trans mount but I never got enough interest in it to put it back in the car.

These will be offered for sale shortly.

 

Heads are $500 firm. They will fit all SBC including 400. There are instructions in the box that detail 400 installation.
