NEW LZ9 3900 with EVERYthing. Niagara area
Yes; due to a change in my swap project I am putting this up for sale; a 3 mile engine complete with all the accessories. Taken out by Schram in Michigan; been in heated covered storage since. Never a drop of rain, not a spot of rust.
This is out of an 06 Impala LTZ. Same motor that Mars used in his Turbo Z28 build and he can attest to its durability!!
Engine is complete with the exh manifolds, cross over pipe; lower intake etc all still attached. For some reason they (Schram) removed the following; all of which is included:
Upper intake manifold with throttle body and variable intake 'motor'; also the gaskets to bolt it back on;
Alternator;
Starter;
fuel rail with injectors;
A/C compressor; c/w clutch;
power steering pump c/w reservoir, hoses and the aluminum 'housing' that mounts it to the front of the engine;
Coil packs and plug wires;
ECM (E67) and (I think - need to look at pix to be sure) the TCM; the BCM is the one that is missing I believe; with complete engine wiring harness; even includes battery cables/connectors and starter/alternator connectors. No cut wires;
Flex plate on back of motor.
All nice and clean and shiny. This motor ran long enough to get the car into the shop where it was removed, it appears. Even the 'plug' that goes into the valve cover grommet for the PCV is clean!
Pix are posted on W body forum at

This is the motor that Mars used in his turbo'd Z28 buildup and has well over 300 runs on it; you can ask him how durable it is!

although, as noted, the BCM (I believe) is NOT included....
This would be a great starting point for a swap. I want to try to sell as a package rather than parting it out; $1000 for all. Shipping will be extra.
Will ship ANYwhere at cost; no handling or markups. Located in Niagara region on Ontario side; would be easy pickup for northern NY state, parts of Ohio or Pennsylvania; less than 4 hrs to Michigan; or I can arrange to ship across altho I haven't done anything this big/heavy before. Edit: Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Detroit all less than 4 hr drive; Rochester less than 2 hrs away.
Email me for more info etc rather than PM's; email will be faster.

Thx
