TPIS MINI RAM
Hello, I have a tpis mini ram intake manifold + fuel rail + tpis adjustable fuel pressure regulator + fuel lines + low profile tpis thermostat housing (I think the 180 is still in there too)+ 48lb venom fuel injectors with only 10 minutes of run time on them. Was on a turbocharged 355 in my 87 TA. I'm trying to get $1000 OBO for the whole thing and I'd prefer not to break it up.

Re: TPIS MINI RAM
I feel like it is a good price too but nobody's biting yet. Come on everybody, don't make me have to buy another third gen just to put this thing on!

Re: TPIS MINI RAM
I think with the price and popularity of the stealth rams most have shied away from the mini ram. I like the mini ram but I went stealth ram because I got a deal.

Re: TPIS MINI RAM
That's what I've noticed as well. I've never used the stealth ram but the word on the streets is that the mini ram is only a little better and for the cost difference you could make up the few ponies else ware on your build. For a person with a more generous budget and not willing to trade a few ponies for a few hundred bucks the mini ram may still be the way to go. Hopefully that guy is on thirdgen.org and doesn't already have one. I can say that when I installed the miniram it gave me 2 hp up top for every 1 lb ft of torque I lost down low and it comes on like a freight train.

Re: TPIS MINI RAM
I would be all over the miniram, I've been wanting to get one for when I decide to swap out from the CC Qjet on my 84 w/355 which runs great, I just want to go fuel injection. Unfortunately, my wife's truck needs tires and that takes the priority.

Which intake manifold gasket does your setup use? TPIs website shows two different manifolds intended for a particular intake gasket.

Re: TPIS MINI RAM
I interested but, I don't need the injectors. Would you sell without the injectors? If so let me know what you would want for the rest of the set up.

Re: TPIS MINI RAM
I know what u mean. Tires are a hit to the pocketbook every time they need replacing. One of the reasons I rarely drive my truck. Damn thing seems to chew up a 1000$ set of tires every year. Your keepin your priorities strait tho. Don't want the wife Rollin on slicks with winter weather around the corner.

Re: TPIS MINI RAM
Well, if you still have it, I'll check back when I have the money again. I have a 400sbc (friend has a World Block that he decided to go LSX on instead) that is waiting for parts. My CC Qjet works perfect, but eventually I want to go FI, especially when I decide to swap the motor. I just like having all th eparts "on hand" so i don't have to wait. hehe

Re: TPIS MINI RAM
Yes it would work on 220cc port head but you would have to have the miniram heavily ported to match the runners size but it would be way worth it because then you would be tapping into the true flow potential of the miniram.

Re: TPIS MINI RAM
Thx, I currently have on my 383 a ported and modified SuperRam. I've always wanted to see how the car would perform with the miniram. Being that my car is more street than strip and an automatic I'm having a hard time talking myself into spending that much. Thx for the reply.

Re: TPIS MINI RAM
I still have it and yes it will work on a 305. The 50 cubes difference is not really that big of a deal. The heads and cam are the real factors that come into play with the miniram. of corse it goes without saying more displacement would be better though.

Re: TPIS MINI RAM
Can you take a picture of the ports? I'm curious how much material is on there, if it can be ported to a 1206. Some of the 1204 castings didn't leave much material.
