Note - Includes a TPIS Throttle Body ID Plate, anodized Jet Black with Stainless Steel Screws, not the Original AS&M ID Plate/Screws (I'm keeping those).
Note - Not Included is a TPIS Billet IAC Housing anodized "BLACK" with Stainless Steel Screws.

The as&m bored out 48mm tb's I have had have a anodized throttle blades. This looks like a 85-88 tb with 89-92 wrap around throttle cable end.

Is there a way of verifying that this is indeed an AS&M Throttle Body?

I don't think you can put an air foil in an AS&M TB, and that piece you have is cast, not billet. So I'm pretty sure it's not.
The only thing that looks like it's from AS&M is the IAC.

Tpis, lingenfelter, as&m , eBay you use to be able to get your 48mm bored out.
The 89/92 tb has the iac passage connected to the throttle bores. If this was put on a 89-92 plenum the iac would not be functional to control idle.
There is break through on two holes from boring. The lh side hole wasn't block off with that iac housing. That would cause a big vacuum leak. No one who bored out the tbs marked them with there name.
A air foil needs to have a small amount removed to blend the throttle bores but they were sold with them.
The 89/92 tb has the iac passage connected to the throttle bores. If this was put on a 89-92 plenum the iac would not be functional to control idle.
