Re: Stealth Ram, throttle body, injectors.
1) I wanted to use a large cap HEI dizzy so I didn't have a remote coil
2) I like the 1pc design of the miniram
3) The miniram is shorter, which I just like the looks
4) I think the port design on the miniram (injector protrusion) is superior.
Anyway. Here is some pics. You'll notice I didn't port it all the way to a 1206. It's like a 1205ish right now. The picture of the gasket on it is a 1206 gasket. I simply welded it, and had the machine shop mill it flat so it would cover the ports on my AFR heads.

Re: Stealth Ram, throttle body, injectors.
I got a miniram. I had a number of reasons for going to the miniram, some may sound dumb, but it's me:
1) I wanted to use a large cap HEI dizzy so I didn't have a remote coil
2) I like the 1pc design of the miniram
3) The miniram is shorter, which I just like the looks
4) I think the port design on the miniram (injector protrusion) is superior.

Re: Stealth Ram, throttle body, injectors.
Maybe.
I say maybe because, it was just pointed out to me like 2 days ago that the bosses on either end of the intake are intended to allow drilling of the vortec head pattern.
However, I'm unsure if the intake runners line up. I've got some vortec gaskets in the shop, but no way of "centering" them on the intake to be sure.
So I'm not guaranteeing a thing. You can probably chime in on the thread where this intake was discussed.
