SLP shorty headers and Ypipe to cat converter

Shorty headers and Y pipe came on a car that I want to put back to original. Sounds good.
Can't find any place that sells these any more. 3 inch, for single cat
Can ship in one piece, but if I were to take the ypipe apart, I would have to slit it.
$425 shipped or make offer
$325 picked up
.

Can't find any place that sells these any more, no idea what they are worth now, but I have an idea what the newer SLP's are going for.
Open to offers!
Will get pics here shortly.
Could be interested..

Whole exhaust or just the headers? No air injection?

Looks like it had air inj but was cut off, welded shut. Also look to be 1 3/4. Dual or single cat is the next question.

Re: SLP shorty headers and Ypipe to cat converter

The AIR pipes on SLP's 4 into 1 headers were a pain anyway. The threads dumping straight up made them somewhat universal in the sense that they were a pain in the *** to connect to the AIR plumbing on anything. At least the Tri-Y headers seemed to point the valves the right direction to fit some cars. I cut mine and had them welded the first chance I had, and never regretted it for a second.

When the kits were sold new, they came with the install kit to connect the check valves correctly. (the factory style plastic clamps, rubber elbow and plastic connector) No real problem with that on all the ones I put on.
I guess the real problem was cracking around the welds on the primary tubes to the A.I.R. tubes.

I know they offered install kits, but I seem to remember they were an added cost add-on, the cut down spark plug socket was another add-on, along with the V-belt A/C bracket or something like that. They were kind of obscenely priced too. Good headers, one of the better available options, but the hype was strong.

Someone needs to buy these already.
