Hey all, I've got a set of Hooker 2055 headers and matching Y-pipe. I probably bought these 10 years ago, never installed them and they are just sitting in my basement. The gaskets and hardware are still shrink wrapped (may want new gaskets anyway because of age). I don't even own a car anymore so these aren't going to do me much good so I thought I'd throw them on here to see if there is any interested.

There is some surface rust and dust from sitting, but otherwise in good shape. They are painted not powder coated. Will try to snap a couple pictures tonight.

Asking $250. New price seems to be around $475.

Local pickup strongly preferred as I don't have a box big enough for the Y-pipe. Located in Newark, DE about 45 minutes south of Philly or an hour north of Baltimore.

Hey all, got a few requests for shipping. After Christmas I'll swing by the UPS store and see if I can get a box big enough for the Y pipe and I can get shipping quotes.

 

Jut a FYI , ups will take a y pipe just wrapped in plastic . Hth

To others, I haven't forgotten about these, tried the UPS store and they didn't have anything big enough for me. Still searching for that perfect box, would prefer not to give UPS a Y-pipe wrapped in plastic.

 

Do you still have the headers? How much? What might shipping be to Canada? My brother has been looking for a set for his 91 t-top tpi

 

I'm a UPS driver and we get y pipes and other exhaust system pieces wrapped in plastic, bubble wrap and even completely unwrapped all the time. Better to go to your local UPS customer counter rather than a UPS store if trying to save money. They have a huge markup over what it actually costs to ship.

 

Thanks Ty, I've actually got a UPS shipping account so no worries about the store mark up (you are, of course, right about the prices) and maybe I'm just being paranoid after seeing what packages go through.

Anyway, I've collected some large sheets of cardboard and I'm going to see if I can fashion a box myself. Was really hoping to find a local buyer but no luck so far. I apologize to everyone who asked for a shipping quote that this is taking me so long.

Fun tip: If you find yourself needing large sheets of cardboard, try your local bike shop.
