what makes the throttle body pre 1990. will the BBK or Holley not fit on the 1992 tpi intake?

 

85-88 use a stud mount throttle cable and a dedicated iac passage through the plenum. 89-92 uses a wrap around cam style throttle cable and open iac passage between throttle blade bores. 89-92 can be used on any tpi plenum because of the iac passage. Most aftermarket tbs 85-88 have this done as well.

 

So my engine was from a 91 Camaro but it is in my 92 c1500 truck so I guess these could be 90+ you TBS I'm pretty sure the Lingenfelter 58mm TB I have for sale is new newer version! PM me if you are interested in pics of the Holley and or Lingenfelter.....The BBK is sold

Yes TPI, I bought a used Holley Stealthram EFI swap kit a couple years ago and only used the stealthram and fuel pump.
