im trying to find a nice cam but honestly i didnt build this motor i dont exactly know if he did anything to the heads

 

..... NEVER install a camshaft without checking the basics ... like valve springs , retainers , valve seals , piston to valve clearance , timing set ... stock springs should NEVER be used with a performance cam ... besides sbc valve springs sets are cheap ... go to Comp Cams website and print yourself a copy of their camshaft installation instructions , or call them BEFORE you buy a cam .....

 

That is why I mentioned this. Not everyone realizes the problems you can have. Didn't want a guy install a cam and then have issues. Yes, research is always a first before buying.
