FS: LT1 T-56 + Hardware, Hurst Shifter, and a lot of associated gear...

Hello, everyone:

For sale is a nearly complete early-90's vintage T-56 6-speed set up. It includes the T-56 transmission, bell housing, hardware, Hurst shifter, clutch master cylinder and reservoir (brand new), 4th-gen pedal assembly (brand new reproduction from Hawk's), ARP pressure plate bolts (also new).

This collection is almost complete. In addition to what I'm selling here, you'd need (if I recall correctly) a clutch, flywheel, a correct cross-member, and probably 1 or 2 of the bell housing to block dowels as one of mine seems to have disappeared. Everything I have for sale is in the pictures.

Please note: Everything in this set up is used in good condition except for the clutch master cylinder, fluid reservoir, ARP pressure plate hardware. The pressure plate bolts, reservoir, pedal assembly, and master cylinder are brand new.

I'm asking $1,500 for the entire set up. The only catch is that I really don't have time to get this packed and arranged for shipping, so it would have to be a pick up or meet up arrangement. I don't mind driving a few hundred miles to meet a buyer (I've done it before several times), we'd just have to get the timing right. If you're nearby, then there would be a discount because of the small amount of driving necessary to complete the exchange.

All questions are welcome and I try to respond to PM's within 24 hours if possible.

Thanks for checking out my listing!

Re: FS: New Motive Gear gearset (3.73) and New bearing and shim kit...

Thread bump for price reduction on the gear set.

The gear set is now $140.00 shipped. The bearing/shim kit is now $70.00.

The price for both together is now $175.00.

I believe that it was from a ‘94. That label that is in the last picture that starts with “DLF” has the digits “86-009” on it in the upper right corner.

I’m pretty sure you can trace it by that.

The green tag on the right side, hanging off the tailhousing bolt is the best way to ID the trans.

Thanks for the tip. I haven't looked at that in some time.

I'm in Long Beach. If you would like to meet in LA or San Francisco, I'd be fine with that. I've been driving up north for many years now for different occasions/reasons. This is as good as any.

Long Beach is a suburb of Los Angeles.

I'll send you a PM.

Interested in the mileage on the transmission if known. I've been looking for broke down M6 LT-1 cars or T-56's within in a 250 radius for awhile for my GTA.

Hi there. I cannot speak to the specifics regarding mileage, but I can say that there is minimal radial play in the input shaft and it doesn't seem to make any noise. I never installed it, so it has had no wear on it since I got it. Its action is pretty smooth.

FWIW, it did come from a yard that got it directly from a mechanic that they deal with fairly regularly. As I understand it, it came out of a running vehicle.

Also, I recently did an exchange (a large exhaust system) with a guy in Gilbert, although it wasn't for a third-gen F-body. If you're interested, I don't mind a drive if I know that someone will get this that really wants it.

I'll also send you a pm for a few more details.
