9 bolt disc 3.23 posi rear
My new ford 9inch is on the way so the rear that’s in the car now is for sale
It’s a Borg Warner 9 bolt posi with 3.23 gears and disc brakes out of an 85 trans am
I just had the calipers pads and rotors replaced about maybe 200 miles ago, it also has the upgraded t/a performance diff cover on it
Id like to see 600 for it but open to offers, I won’t part it out it is being sold complete
Text or call me at (646) 739-8066 - Vinny

Not that it's a end of the world thing but the bolt would have 3.27 gears.

Re: 9 bolt disc 3.23 posi rear
if you say so... I wasnt the one who swapped the rear into the car the previous owner did and told me it was a 3.23 posi 9 bolt rear when I bought it... when I changed the 9 bolt cover I had the gears checked and they where in fact 3.23s... they do make after market gears for these rears, I’m not Trying to be rude buy I really shouldn’t have to explain myself on how I know what’s in my car...

Re: 9 bolt disc 3.23 posi rear
Just trying to clear up what could be some confusion to a new buyer. The 9 bolt is a bit better rearend but if you say it has 3.23 gears then someone will wonder if it's really a 10bolt.
2 different rearends use different gears, yes there are aftermarket gears for each but they still couldn't be swapped like that.
Throw up a quick picture of it if you can, that will help!

Re: 9 bolt disc 3.23 posi rear
We might be going to visit family near Groton this summer...would you be willing to take it there? Looks fairly close to Dover Plains, if they’d agree to hold it there for me, it would move it out of your way...shipping to Tennessee would be rather costly.

That would work...but it's likely to be sometime during the summer before we're up that way.
