Umi torque arm and BMR t56 transmission mount
BMR t56 crossmember. Fit and finish is perfect. Swapping to a different setup as this will not work with my moser 9 inch rear and tremec t56 magnum transmission. Have to switch to a body mounted torque arm. I paid $260 plus shipping. Asking $200 shipped.

Re: Umi torque arm and BMR t56 transmission mount
it probably could be made to fit by banging on the trans tunnel, and cutting and grinding the hell out of the torque arm. But I'm not interested in all that. The torque arm needs one of the bolt hole sets cut off and you have to grind either the torque arm mount on the rear end or the inside of the torque arm to even fit on the rear. Then it's too long and hits the transmission so you have to cut it short. Figured I'd rather not butcher this one and it not work, vs just buying the other on .

Interesting. I tried the same xmember and didnt like it. I have the black heart one on now and hope an adjustable TA works. Makes me ponder.

I just tried bolting up the new UMI t56 torque arm and it didnt fit. Do you have an aftermarket k member as well? The bmr bolts up, but the umi isnt even close. Debating the Hawks or the hooker at this point.

Stock GTA front sway bar. This is the big 36mm one. Biggest sway bar available. Comes with used bushings. Will need to buy your own sway bar bushing brackets. Switched to a solid mild steel variant. $120 shipped.

I do have an aftermarket kmember. What's different dimensionaly from the UMI and the BMR units? I haven't purchased a torque arm yet but now I am not sure. Have you contacted midwest chassis or brute speed? They make custom torque arm mounts and cross members for fbodys with a 9".

So the BMR mount needs some messaging to fit the trans tunnel, or have I read something wrong?
I saw the Hawks mount, mercy...could make that in a few hours, sans powder coating it. I was looking at the one that was just a T56 mount though. Seemed kinda...well, just easy to make.
