L98 manifolds and single cat Y-pipe
Off my (well was mine) '89 Iroc. Exhaust manifolds are easy to ship, may or may not include the AIR, waiting on word about another thing I'm I'm working on. Y-pipe would be bulky and expensive to ship, unless I cut it apart.
If pick up 50 bucks for all (AIR tubes pending, so may not be available)
If I need to ship, I'll be easy on you, my scrap pile is too large

Re: L98 manifolds and single cat Y-pipe
Are these manifolds and the Y-Pipe the same as on my 1989 LB9 305 TPI engine? I am considering a L98 swap.

PS I would be ready to buy, but no rush to get. Contemplating a LB9 to L98 Swap, on my 1989 IROC Z VERT.

They are the same. Pretty sure there are no differences at all, inside or out. They are the high output manifolds vs the TBI.

OK, One responder thinks the L98 manifolds have a 1/4" larger ID than my LB9 manifolds, the other responder thinks they are the same size. I guess I will need to do some more research.

Re: L98 manifolds and single cat Y-pipe
Thanks. I read about a third of the 80 plus/or so posts in the above thread. I am still confused . What was your conclusion? I have a 1989 LB9 IROC Z Vert. Are the L98 manifolds different than my LB9, single cat, NO G92 ca. car? ? Do I need the L98 Y Pipe, to run the L98 manifolds? Thanks.

Thanks that was the thread I was looking for! Yes, your 89 LB9, like mine, has the 2-1/4". I put them onto the L98. If you had the 1990, then no, it would have the small, TBI ones.

Tootie Pang, who is the author of the description you posted? How do you know it is the definitive word, on the manifolds?

Hey Mike,
I can get the casting numbers off of them easy enough, but seems more than likely the same.
