Upgraded to Koni's so I have these KYB AGX struts and shocks for sale. These have about 8,000 miles on them. $200 plus actual shipping charges; message with zip for quote.
hey - i have been running the AGX's for about 6 years. I run track days only with hoosier R7 and A7 as well as Toyo RR's. i just switched to Koni's last summer. obviously, this opinion is rather biased as i don't street drive the car, but i will say the AGX's are better than i had anticipated. I ran out of rear shock adjustment rather quickly, i ended up going to more rear bar and then heavier springs before putting the koni's on. The front AGX's have taken a beating a just keep taking that beating. I had them maxed out for stiffness after my 2nd season on them and went through the same process with sway bars and springs etc - each time taking temp of the shocks to see if they were about to fail - but these shock have taken some pretty hard track use with excellent results. more consistent that i had expected and i only have praise for them.
the Koni's take more load and cycle better, run cooler - but they are a bigger body shock than the KYB. I can't say how they are on the street - if i were to make an estimate, the KYB would be easier to live with on the street. but the koni will adust to be compliant to most conditions
I have decided to hold on to these for now. Not going to pass judgement just yet, but I may swap back to the KYB shocks/struts..
LOL, think I know what you are saying - after running the bone crushing, stock yard settings, I dialed my Koni's to lowest setting and they resembled the factory WS6 suspension setup - I've owned the machine since 1992.
