WOW, those are $233 for a new set... thanks for the link, but i'm looking for a cheap used set. I won't have this 9-bolt forever, but would like to use the rear brakes off an LT1 car that i've parted out as a small upgrade for the time being.

IIRC, the backing plates can be purchased separately, though still pricey. Check with Ed. He may be able to do better. By the way, used 9-bolt backing plates may be difficult to find. Might get lucky though.

V6sucker, i will get back to you very soon on this. I just talked to a friend that I remembered had a 9-bolt laying around. it did have PBR brakes, he's checking to see if he still has the backing plates around and is supposed to get back to me soon

Don't toss them. Personally, I think $60's a deal.

well I am getting out of thirds for good this time. I am also clearing out my garage of all this junk that I know I will not ever use (third gen related). I have one other person that just pm'd me about them, so if he does not take them, in the bed they go.

I have the plates, firebird guage surround, LSD unit and a few other small parts left. I plan on putting some up on ebay. If they sell fine if not trash they all go.

the other deal falls through, and a few days later asks me to lower from 60 shipped to 45 shipped...

Yeah I still got them if someone want a spare set.

i don't get what your problem is. I made an offer, and you rejected it. No need to have your feelings hurt. Go post in your own for sale thread

I offered them for 60 then after a few days when your buddy did not want to give you his you try to undercut my offer.

My feelings were not hurt. Good luck finding your plates.
