Re: WTB: intake
a stock one off an 80-88 years car would be the way to unless you want something aftermarket for some reason
88 was last year for carb on cars other than f bodies, in which were through 87
stock aluminum 4bbl
that way you could use all stock factory parts and with no problems
junkyards will have dozens of them, and other stuff you will need such as fuel pump to carb steel tube, and throttle cable bracket and so on
good luck

I have an Edelbrock Performer. These are nice because they are a guaranteed fit under you hood. Performer RPM's can be a problem depending on many factors like type of motor mounts, type of air cleaner, etc.....
The inner bolt holes have been elongated to work with the mid 80's splayed bolt pattern. Unfortunately, I didn't know you had to use a wedge style washer. There is a small crack on the outer portion of the bolt hole. Not in the area that would be a detrement to proper sealing. You can easily JB weld the crack and all would be good or I could do it for you if you'd like. Otherwise the intake is perfect. $60 plus shipping from 87108. This is a square hole intake...not for spreadbore carbs like a Quadrajet.
