a/c delete pully

a/c delete pully

I am looking for and a/c delete pully. Going to delete my a/c off my 3.1 V6. Already have the box just need the pully so I can run my serp belt

Bruce, I have never seen a a/c delete pully on a v-6, I thought they just used a shorter belt, I could be wrong, It has happened before.
Check online or at your local parts store to see if there are different belts for a/c and non a/c cars.

I do have smog pump delete pully for a v-6 if you ever need 1.

I tried the shorter belt for non a/c it would not fit. I searched on the board and someone had done one to a v6 car before

How much for the smog pump delete for a v6 shipped to 98277

I also got the A/C delete pully for for 58.00 from GM parts direct

I've seen Both smog pump set-ups: With and without the pulley. I used the pulley when I swapped a 3.1 into my 87 'cause I thought it would be needed. Then I bought the belt and it was too short to go around the pulley,.... I ended up pulling the pulley right back off !

The 3.1 now has NO AC and NO smog,..... I didn't need a single spare pulley - the belt I bought worked fine. I think I asked for one from an 88 with no smog and no AC.

Okay I have installed the A/C delete pully from Gm p[arts direct for 58.00 New to my door. Just finished the install. If anyone is interested let me know and I will send some pics. Next up is the A/C blower box swap to NON A/C
